As a member of the Connected Experience team within Enterprise Products, I am deployed to lead the design efforts on large, ambiguous projects as well as serving as an arbiter of quality for all EP projects.
Worked on a key stategic initiative on the future of work at Meta, exploring how our large distributed workforce will radically improve productivity through new tools that unite project surfaces, reimagine internal calendars, and create ‘presence’ for those sharing a working canvas.
Helped establish and maintain the programme for creating large, reusable patterns that can exist on top of our existing design system to make spinning up entire apps and experiences a much more efficient process.

Principal Product Experience Designer
Overseeing the design and designers on Wattpad's Fan Monetization team. Our team is dedicated to creating a healthy financial ecosystem for our writers to earn a living on Wattpad while deepening fandoms that exist on the platform.
Works closely with company leadership to set Fan Monetization strategy, goals, and outcomes, both specific to design as well as for the team overall. This includes setting conversion targets, earnings targets, as well as establishing the habit loops that will drive the fan monetization ecosystem.
Sets the design strategy for, and leads a team of designers and researchers within, Fan Monetization to achieve our company goals, as well as participating in the design work itself for several initiatives.
Establishes and communicates the through-line between all active and upcoming initiatives to understand how the add up to a cohesive ecosystem that can be leveraged by readers to deepen their fan engagement and writers to increase their earning power on Wattpad.
Works with the Head of Design to actively coach and mentor the overall design team, as well as strategize on how best to hire, grow, and develop designers within the company.
Senior Product Experience Designer
Leading the experience design for content discovery at Wattpad
Works in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Content to build the best discovery experience for users on our platform, which includes the design of Home, Search, Tag Pages, and Library.
Combines a heavy mix of user research and data-driven insights to uncover opportunities to improve and optimize key performance and conversion metrics for both new and existing Wattpad users.
Participates in high-level product strategy that helps determine goals and roadmaps for the Wattpad platform as a whole.
Is a founding member of the Accessibility team that is striving to make Wattpad as inclusive an experience as possible for all of our millions of users.
Works with the other Wattpad designers to help create a design programme that encourages growth, learning, and how to advocate for design within the business.
Spent the first several months at Wattpad on the interactive story app, Tap, standardizing the interaction model, creating interface animations, and conducting extensive research with writers about creating interactive content at scale.

Manages the product design team to ensure focus and efficiency on user pain points, journey maps, user testing, wireframing, and high-fidelity comp work
Works on features throughout their collaborative lifespan, from ideation through to dev handoff
Built and maintains Resolver's user research and user testing programs
Leads a cross-functional design team that enables designers across Resolver (including graphic, web, and content) to collaborate, critique, share ideas, and improve design consistency throughout the company

Founded Shakespeare at Play as a way to combine my skills in theatre and experience design
Our app achieved buy-in from dozens of private schools in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as the Toronto Catholic District School Board
Designed and validated the UX and interaction model, led the research into the academic validity of our interactive textbook-style app, and worked with development to execute on both
Directed the filmed theatrical productions used in the app, which involved managing teams of 40+ people and adjusting to the constant shifts inherent to digital film production
Designed all of the brand's digital assets, including logos, social avatars, ebook cover art and the brand’s website

Co-Founded At Play Systems to create a new model digital how-to content distribution
Created the business logic, spearheaded product design research and directed strategy for At Play Systems
Led the team in creating a working prototype of atplay.io, which including managing technical development, UX strategy and implementation of IxD, as well as ensuring that timelines were met and that the project stayed on budget
