That's me.

I am a Toronto-based designer, specializing in user-centered experience and interface design, currently at Meta.

My background is in theatre, going back to when 8 years old. Theatre is an intensely collaborative medium that brings together multiple disciplines to execute on a single shared vision that must delight an audience, and that has profoundly shaped my working approach to design. I thrive when working on a big, ambiguous project that require consideration and collaboration to bring clarity and sense of direction.

I also spent 10 years as a sportswriter, covering the NBA and the Toronto Raptors for TSN in Canada, which has given me a strong facility for written communication and distilling complex ideas into concise, written documents. This has been essential for streamlining complex design strategies and concepts for non-designers and the design-curious at various stops in my journey. It has made me a valuable go-between from design teams to external stakeholders.
